The main measures taken by the Nanhai District Education Association are:
First, donated 1,049 books of "Innovative Design of Kindergarten Waste Classification Theme Activities" to 426 kindergartens in Nanhai District, 960 posters of waste classification in Nanhai District, and 960 posters of Cantonese nursery rhymes, to achieve full coverage and let all kindergartens in the district carry out waste classification teaching From time to time there are grasps and content. Second, based on the progress of the project, organize and carry out the teacher teaching activity design and teaching micro-lecture production evaluation activities of "one point for garbage and ten points for life", and 87 teaching activity designs, 104 micro-course designs and 7 outstanding organization awards were selected. . It builds a display platform for front-line teachers, improves teachers' ability to carry out garbage classification teaching, achieves the purpose of promoting teaching through evaluation, and realizes the co-construction and sharing of high-quality environmental protection education and teaching resources.
Third, under the overall leadership of the district association, each kindergarten actively carried out a series of activities such as various forms of garbage sorting activities, "CD Action" activities, garbage sorting resource recycling activities, etc., which greatly enhanced the environmental protection awareness of teachers, students and parents, and made great efforts. Hold hands and work together to support environmental protection projects.
Through this series of measures, remarkable results have been achieved. 34 kindergartens in the district have won the red list of 4 100 benchmark units in Nanhai District for garbage classification inspection in the first quarter of 2021, with a red list rate of 100%; in the garbage classification inspection of district-level public institutions in Nanhai District in 2021, 20 kindergartens were inspected, of which 19 were On the red list, the red list rate is 99%; there are 58 benchmarking units for garbage classification in various towns and streets.

Garbage sorting is a long-term social project that requires long-term and unremitting efforts and persistence from generation to generation.
